隨著我國教育由應(yīng)試教育走向素質(zhì)教育,外語教學(xué)的目的也越來越突出培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的外語交際能力,基于這一點(diǎn),我做了一次大膽的嘗試。把《九年義務(wù)教育初級(jí)中學(xué)英語教科書》第二冊(cè)第16單元第61課的教學(xué)從教室里拉到了操場上,以活動(dòng)課的形式完成對(duì)話課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。主要設(shè)計(jì)思路如下:
(一) 將本地區(qū)的行政區(qū)圖畫在操場上,給學(xué)生以耳目一新的感受,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和參與欲望。
(二) 多種情景的創(chuàng)設(shè)能夠培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造性思維能力。
(三) 形式多樣的練習(xí)能夠促進(jìn)學(xué)生交際能力的發(fā)展。真正達(dá)到學(xué)以致用的目的。
具體操作步驟如下:
步驟一:用以舊帶新的方法,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回憶學(xué)過的問路、指路的表達(dá)方法,在此基礎(chǔ)上引入新的語言點(diǎn),使學(xué)生即鞏固了舊知識(shí)又學(xué)了新內(nèi)容。
問路: Excuse me, where is … ?
How can I get to … ?
Which is the way to …, please?
Could you tell me how I can get to …, please?
Which bus can take me to … ?
I want to go to …, can you show me the way?
Can you tell me the way to … ?
指路: It’s over there. ( between … and … )

Take the … turning on the left (right ), and then …

步驟二:創(chuàng)設(shè)情景,分組練習(xí)。
1:兩人一組練習(xí),以圖中標(biāo)志(1)為起點(diǎn)。
1) 某位同學(xué)要去購物中心買文具
A: Hello. I want to go to the Shopping Centre to buy a pen, My pen is broken.
Will you go with me?
B: Sorry. I haven’t finished my homework.
A: But I don’t know the way, can you tell me?
B: Ok. Go out of the school gate, turn right, go down that road, at the second
Crossing you can see it on your right.
A: Thank you.
B: You’re welcome.
2) 放學(xué)了,剛出校門,有人向你詢問去火車站的路。
A: Excuse me, which is the way to the Railway Station?
B: Go along this road, take the second turning on the left. Then go down that
street, you’ll find the Railway Station at the end of it.
A: How nice you are. Thank you very much.
B: That’s all right.
3) 田徑隊(duì)的同學(xué)要去體育場訓(xùn)練,請(qǐng)指路。
4)某同學(xué)突患疾病,需要去醫(yī)院就醫(yī),請(qǐng)指路。
5)老師要去張店一中聽課學(xué)習(xí),請(qǐng)指路。
6)韓梅同學(xué)是個(gè)愛學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生,放學(xué)后她要去新華書店買書,請(qǐng)指路。
以上4組對(duì)話內(nèi)容略。
2:多人問一人答練習(xí)。
在中心路和新村路交界處有一個(gè)交警在值勤,他熱情地為來往客人指路。
在圖中標(biāo)志(2)處。
1) 問去淄博飯店的路。
A: Excuse me, can you tell me the way to Zi Bo Restaurant?
B: Yes. Go down this road, when you get to the second crossing, you’ll find it’s in
front of you on the right. You won’t miss it.
A: Thanks a lot.
B: It’s a pleasure.
2) 問去和平小區(qū)的路。
A: Excuse me, How can I get to He Ping Living Area?
B: Let me see, Oh, go up this road, turn left at the second crossing, then take the
First turning on the right. It’s a little far from here. It’ll take you half an hour to
Walk there. You may take a taxi.
A: It’s very kind of you. Thank you very much.
B: You’re welcome.
3) 問去淄博五中的路。
4)問去長途汽車站的路。
5)問去人民公園的路。
6)問去淄博鐵中的路。
以上4組對(duì)話內(nèi)容略。
3:小組活動(dòng)。每一位小組成員都要參加,位置自選。
1)一位英國人要到山東理工大學(xué)任教,由于她非常想了解中國,所以她比原計(jì)
劃早一天來到淄博,下了火車以后沒有人接她,她只好一路詢問。
A: Excuse me, where’s the ShangDong Science and Engineering Institute please?
B: Sorry, I’m new here.
A: Thank you all the same.
A: Excuse me, can you tell me how I can get to the Science and Engineering Institute, please?
C: It’s very far. You may take the No. 2 Bus. It’ll take you there.
A: But I want to know something more about ZiBo. I don’t want to take a bus.
Please show me the way, OK?
C: OK. Go along this street, turn left when you see ZiBo Restaurant, then walk along
that road, after three crossing you can see it on your right.
A: Thank you very much.
C: That’s OK.
A: Oh, dear! Where am I? I should ask another people. Excuse me, could you tell me
the way to the Science and Engineering Institute, please?
D: Sorry, I don’t know. You’d better ask the policemen.
A: Thanks a lot.
A: Excuse me, How can I get to the Science and Engineering Institute, please?
E: Go along this road, you can find it on your right at the second crossing. It’s about
ten minutes’ walk. You can’t miss it.
A: Thank you very much.
E: Not at all. Good-bye.
A: Bye.
2) 一個(gè)年輕人到淄博做工。不慎受傷。他的媽媽知道后從外地趕來看望兒子。從長途汽車站下車,她就打聽去中心醫(yī)院的路,經(jīng)多方詢問終于找到了她的兒子。
3)星期天,三組的同學(xué)們要去看電影,其中有一個(gè)同學(xué)是新來的,他不知到去電影院的路,于是他給同學(xué)打電話詢問,然后按同學(xué)告訴他的路線去了電影院。
4)張林是位新同學(xué),他要給原學(xué)校的同學(xué)寄信,但不知到去郵政局的路,他只好一路詢問。
5)過春節(jié)大家收到了好多壓歲錢,他們都不舍得花,決定存入銀行。他們從各自的家中出發(fā),分別詢問去銀行的路。
以上4組對(duì)話內(nèi)容略。
4:發(fā)揮各自的想象力,自由結(jié)伴練習(xí)。
步驟三:自由練習(xí)結(jié)束后,簡單總結(jié)歸納,然后宣布下課,全課結(jié)束。
課后小結(jié):大膽的嘗試取得了令人滿意的效果,達(dá)到了預(yù)期的目的。實(shí)踐證明,改變單一的課型模式,走出教室,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造輕松愉快的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境,有利于鞏固學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,提高實(shí)際運(yùn)用英語的能力。尤其是自由結(jié)伴練習(xí)激發(fā)了所有同學(xué)的參與積極性,大家都充分發(fā)揮了自己的想象力,就連平時(shí)上課很少發(fā)言的同學(xué)也躍躍欲試。同學(xué)們普遍反映這堂課有真實(shí)感,令他們終生難忘。
