●more than的幾種用法
（1）more than＋數(shù)詞，表示“……以上；多于……；……有余”相當(dāng)于over。例如：
By then he was more than 50 years of age.
那時(shí)他已經(jīng)50多歲了。
It was more than a year now since he had seen Mary.
自從他看見瑪麗到現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)一年多了。
（2）more than＋名詞（名詞性從句或起名詞作用的動(dòng)詞不定式，意思為“不僅僅，不止，超過，遠(yuǎn)不止”。）例如：
Peace is much more than the absence of war.
